I figured I’d start off with a recipe that almost everyone should like…Peanut Butter Fudge! This is a recipe from my family.
Ingredients
- 4 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 2 sticks margarine or butter, cut up
- 1 package chocolate chips
- 2 cups nuts or 1 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
Directions
- In large mixing bowl put the butter, chocolate chips, peanut butter, and vanilla in a mixing bowl. Set aside
- Bring sugar and evaporated milk to a rolling boil in a saucepan over low heat.
- Stir and cook for 7 minutes.
- Pour over other ingredients in the mixing bowl and stir until all ingredients are melted and mixed.
- Pour into 9×13″ pan.
- Cool and store in fridge.
I usually line the pan with aluminum foil or wax paper to make it easier to remove and cut once it is cooled. This recipe makes A LOT of fudge, so I’ll often make a half a batch and only use a 9×9″ pan.
